Client, Laura Gmeinde: Laura Gmeinder Coaching and Consulting, LLC

Laura Gmeinder left her professional career in early 2014 to start her own business, Laura Gmeinder Coaching and Consulting. She first met with SCORE mentors Steve Stone and George Wennerlyn in November of 2014 to help her organize her business priorities and to develop a business plan. Laura needed to expand her client base and her outgoing personality dictated that we focus her energies on networking. Laura is past president of Junior League of Madison, and has become active in United Ways Business Volunteer Network, Leadership Greater Madison, Women of Purpose, and the Doyenne Group. She was the September featured speaker at DreamBank and has since been asked to do two more DreamBank presentations in 2016! Laura has written her own eBook and her consulting and coaching advice has appeared in such publications as The Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, and US News and World Report. She is a 2016 recipient of In Business Magazines 40 Under 40 annual awards contest. Laura has been so successful that she now has to give upsome of her networking efforts so she can concentrate on her growing client base. Laura continues to meet with SCORE on a regular basis.
